This was one of those amazing images that I found with no notes and no context. Just a note, “1939.”It could be Florida. It could be California. It could be somewhere else, but there is no doubt these people are having an incredible day.

Artist’s Commentary Yes, this image is small, but the personality is enormous! I absolutely fell in love with it when I acquired it from a dealer. With no notations, it was impossible to identify the location or the story…but I’m not sure it matters. Joy and friendship are timeless, and the feelings are universal.
